Frederic Remington

One artist’s name to watch out for is that of Frederic Remington. He was one of the most prominent Wild West Artists of his day, and although he died in 1909 his style still influences modern artists today. His sculptures of cowboys on horses are particularly sought-after, but you can buy modern reproductions and also similar work by contemporary sculptors, which have a definite and distinctive western feel.
